Year End BONUS Off-Island. Pine Island Ride
About this event
Bonus Year-End Off-Island Ride on historic Pine Island. Meet at 10a at the Winn-Dixie (9864 Stringfellow) on Pine Island. About an hour from Sanibel. Matlacha bridges are now fully open but there still may be moderate delays. About (17) total miles R/T. Ride to Bokeelia, then lunch at Tarpon Lodge @ 11:30a. Arrive back to cars around 1:30. Mostly all sidewalk/bike path but surfaces can be slightly rough so hybrids will work great. Lunch reservations for (20) so please SIGN-UP by APR 29. and arrive by 11:30. Menu will have 3-4 selections, including vegetarian/GF.
If you want more miles, arrive at Winn-Dixie 9a and bike down to St. James City and back for 15 extra miles.
